What's really driving your midlife belly weight?

Belly weight in midlife is almost never about effort. It's about the hormonal and metabolic shifts happening underneath. This quiz identifies the patterns most commonly behind it, so you know where to look instead of guessing.

Your questions, answered

In midlife, the metabolic architecture that worked in your 30s genuinely shifts. Hormonal changes, stress patterns, and years of accumulated inputs change how your body processes blood sugar, stores fat, and recovers from demands. A systems-level look at what's actually happening, through labs, wearables, and lifestyle patterns, usually reveals something the surface-level approaches missed.
A doctor's primary role is identifying and treating disease. A dietitian focuses on food and nutritional intake. My work sits in a different lane: I help midlife professionals understand the patterns in their data, including labs, wearables, and metabolic markers, through an educational and functional lens. I also address the gap between high-level recommendations and real-world implementation, helping people make health changes that integrate readily into busy lives. I do not diagnose, treat, or interpret labs clinically.
Start with a free guide or a free masterclass on this page. The Beyond the Scale ebook is a good first step if labs and weight loss resistance resonate with you. The Master Your Metrics masterclass is strong if you already wear a wearable. For a more personalized read, a Metabolic Roadmapping Session gives you clarity in 45 minutes with no obligation.
The best starting point is the Metabolic Roadmapping Session. Before the call, you'll complete a Root Cause Assessment, and we'll use that session to identify what's most relevant to where you are now. If a program makes sense, we'll explore that. If something else is a better first step, I'll point you there.
Yes. While some resources like the Menopause Belly Quiz are designed specifically for women in midlife, most programs, workshops, and guides address metabolic health patterns that affect both men and women. Hormonal shifts, blood sugar dysregulation, and metabolic slowdown are not exclusive to women; they just show up differently.
Most wellness coaching focuses on food and movement. My approach works with several layers underneath those, including the autonomic nervous system, which governs how your body responds to stress, stores fat, and determines whether you're in recovery or survival mode. I integrate functional labs, wearable data, sleep patterns, and lifestyle inputs to build a picture of your metabolic health as a system, and help people implement change that integrates with a full, demanding life.
